My name is Rogue.

I was born in Mississippi, and I lived there until my mutation was discovered. Many consider my "powers" to be a gift...but they're a curse.

In addition to borrowing mutant's powers, I absorb their lifeforce...and their memories... The voices keep crowding inside of me, trying to take over. Some times, I can barely keep a grasp of who I am.

After my powers came out, I fled from my family in the South, wandering, searching for a home, a place to belong...and to find out how to get rid of my powers. I first ended up with Mystique, who adopted me as her daughter and used me for her own purposes. However, I soon ended up with a group of mutants known as the X-Men.

To this day, I am still a member of the X-Men...and I still have my powers. They say one day I might gain enough control of my powers to be able to touch others without draining them, but it seems like it will just always be a dream.

I am also in love...with the Ragin' Cajun himself... That's right. I'm in love with Remy LeBeau (aka Gambit). I'm trying to form a relationship with him, but it seems almost impossible with my powers. I do love him though... I hope I have the courage one day to tell him...
